The System Your Business Runs On, Built to Fit
Most businesses outgrow their spreadsheet long before they admit it. I build the internal system that replaces it - inventory and purchasing, order management, approval flows, a customer portal, a management dashboard - designed around your operation and connected to the tools you already pay for.
Key takeaways
- The signal you have outgrown the spreadsheet is usually concurrency: two people editing, and one of them loses work.
- Build the one workflow that hurts most first. A system that replaces everything at once takes longer and lands worse.
- Roles and permissions are a day-one requirement, not a phase two - retrofitting them touches every screen.
- An internal tool nobody monitors quietly rots. Every build ships with logging and alerting so failures surface.
What I build
- Inventory and purchasing systems with SKU-level tracking
- Order management, approval flows and document workflows
- Back-office and admin panels for the team, not for developers
- Customer portals so clients self-serve instead of emailing you
- Management dashboards and scheduled reporting
- Integration with your ERP, CRM, invoicing and Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace
What it costs

Projects I built
ARCS Dental - Inventory & Purchasing System
Tablet counting UI + Flask API + Playwright/Henry Schein cart automation - end-to-end with documented handover.
PDF Signature Platform
Self-hosted DocuSign alternative with proper Hebrew rendering - visual field placement, signer link, pdf-lib + fontkit fill.
Google Apps Script Data Manager
Dual-surface (sheet modal + web app) data manager with column whitelists for safe partial editing.
How it works
A short scoping call
What hurts today, what you already use, and what "done" looks like.
A written fixed-price quote
Scope, price and timeline in writing, approved before any work starts.
Built in stages, on your real data
You see a working first version early, not a demo at the end.
Handover with documentation and monitoring
You own the code and the data, and a support window follows launch.
Working with me from the US or Europe
- Most of my client work is for companies in the US, UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Australia.
- Calls are in English and scheduled in your time zone. My working day covers most of the European one and the US East Coast morning.
- A fixed price in US dollars, agreed in writing before any work starts.
- Pay me directly, or hire me through Upwork if you prefer to work through a platform.
- You own the code and the data, with documentation and a support window after launch.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from buying a product?
A product is cheaper and faster when your process looks like everyone else's. Custom pays off when it does not - when the workflow, the pricing rules or the approvals are specific to how you operate, or when three separate products would each cover a third of the job.
How long does a first version take?
A focused first module - one workflow, real data, real users - is usually weeks rather than months. Scope is what moves that number, so the first conversation is about cutting the scope to the part that pays for itself first.
What happens to the spreadsheet we use today?
It becomes the first migration. The existing sheet is usually the best specification you have - it shows the real fields, the real edge cases and the workarounds people invented. I read it before designing anything.
