A CRM Built Around How You Actually Sell
Off-the-shelf CRM makes you bend your process to fit its screens, and the per-seat bill grows every year. I build a CRM around the pipeline you already run - your stages, your fields, your rules - connected to the invoicing, WhatsApp and email you already use. You own the code and the data.
Key takeaways
- A custom CRM runs $5,000 - $28,000 and takes 3 - 8 weeks. Contacts, pipeline and reporting sit at the bottom of that range; automation, roles and integrations move it up.
- Off-the-shelf wins on speed and price until your process stops fitting it, or per-seat pricing outgrows a one-time build.
- The parts worth building custom are usually the pipeline stages, the custom fields and the integrations - not the contact list.
- A CRM that does not write back to your invoicing and messaging is just a second place to type the same data.
- Permissions, an audit log and duplicate detection are what separate a real CRM from a shared spreadsheet.
What I build
- Contacts, companies, leads and deals with your own pipeline stages
- Custom fields, lead routing, lead scoring and duplicate detection
- Quotes and invoicing integration (Morning / Green Invoice, iCount, Priority, Hashavshevet)
- WhatsApp and email history attached to the customer record
- Roles, permissions and a full audit log
- Dashboards, reports, a webhook layer and an API for everything else

Projects I built
How it works
A short scoping call
What hurts today, what you already use, and what "done" looks like.
A written fixed-price quote
Scope, price and timeline in writing, approved before any work starts.
Built in stages, on your real data
You see a working first version early, not a demo at the end.
Handover with documentation and monitoring
You own the code and the data, and a support window follows launch.
Working with me from the US or Europe
- Most of my client work is for companies in the US, UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Australia.
- Calls are in English and scheduled in your time zone. My working day covers most of the European one and the US East Coast morning.
- A fixed price in US dollars, agreed in writing before any work starts.
- Pay me directly, or hire me through Upwork if you prefer to work through a platform.
- You own the code and the data, with documentation and a support window after launch.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a custom CRM cost?
Typically $5,000 - $28,000, built over 3 - 8 weeks. A lean build - contacts, deals, pipeline, notes and basic reporting - is the low end. Email, automation, roles and permissions, invoicing integration and dashboards are what move it up. The cost guide linked below breaks the tiers down.
When is a custom CRM actually worth it?
When your sales process has rules the off-the-shelf tool cannot express, when you are paying per seat for people who only need one screen, or when the integrations you need are not in its marketplace. If none of those are true, an off-the-shelf CRM is the cheaper answer and I will tell you so.
Can you migrate the data from our current system?
Yes, and it is usually the part that decides whether the project succeeds. The work is field mapping, cleaning and de-duplication, then a pilot migration, a delta migration for anything that changed since, and a cutover. A plain CSV export is rarely enough on its own.
Who owns the system afterwards?
You do - the code, the database and the hosting account. There is no per-seat licence to me, and nothing stops you handing it to another developer. I document it so that handover is realistic.
