WizCloud and WizCount: Validating Report Exports and Integration Options

Before connecting reports, distinguish a management report from an export to another system. A report can show rounded values, manual filters, or screen-oriented information. A receiving system needs identifiers, dates, statuses, and a stable structure.

Ask the provider more than “can we export Excel?” Ask what can be scheduled, what accompanies every record, what changes after correction, and how complete delivery is confirmed. One report sample is not enough: test a day without activity, a day with credits, and a correction made after close.

When export is the approved path, build an intake control: retain the original file, validate headers and period, and reconcile to the report total. Then an added column or changed filter cannot silently insert bad data.
