Wholesaler: Customer Price List, Repeat Order, and Approval for a Price Exception

In wholesale, a general price list is not always the price a customer should receive. Agreement, volume, promotion period, unit of measure, and discount can affect it.

In wholesale, a general price list is not always the price a customer should receive. Agreement, volume, promotion period, unit of measure, and discount can affect it. A repeat order should not copy the previous price without showing whether it is still valid.

Retain a price rule with customer or group, product, unit, currency, effective start and end, and hierarchy against promotions. At order creation, show the source proposing the price and flag an exception. An exception requires reason and approver, then is retained for the specific order or contract as decided.

A control report shows orders without price rule, expired prices, and recurring exceptions. Sales gets speed without finance finding the gap only after invoicing.
