A construction-site daily report should record what happened, not only “all good.” A free-text WhatsApp message can open a short form with site, date, crew, hours, completed work, delays, safety, equipment, and photos. Photos are retained with context, not just in a site manager’s phone gallery.
Exceptions receive severity, owner, and due date. A post-submission change is retained as a version with explanation. When intake is unavailable on site, a local draft can synchronise later, but the system must show that the report has not yet been received.
The system improves recordkeeping and coordination; it does not determine compliance with safety standards or specifications. Fields and approvals must be adapted to project manager, agreements, and relevant professional requirements.
