Connecting the business, accountant, and bank works only when each side has a clear role. The owner needs cash-flow visibility and decisions, the accountant needs auditable documents and data, and the bank is a source for transactions - not necessarily for final accounting classification.

Start with one bank movement: it arrives with ID, date, and amount; the system proposes a match to document or customer; a person approves or marks an exception; and the result reaches the accountant with a source link. Do not let an auto-matching engine close a complex movement only because the amount is equal.

Handle transfers between accounts, fees, split payments, and a bank movement that appears before its document separately. They are not errors, but they must stay visible so they do not become unexplained balance.
